Animation On The Radio podcast

Martin Pickles presents conversations with animators and people involved with animation. The podcast is a regular spinoff of London Animation Club, a regular event and meeting point. Each episode closes with a “screening” of the soundtrack of an animated short, hence “Animation On The Radio”.

Episode 1: Remembering Emma Calder

Julian Cripps talks about his late partner Emma Calder and the legacy of her film Beware Of Trains. Emma was an inspirational figure and for many years a mainstay of London Animation Club.
The podcast closes with a “screening” of Emma’s own audio description of the film, (which, by the way, contains some grown up themes ).
